1.Had a surprise visit from PRESIDENT MONSON in Sacrament meeting
2.Went skinny dipping for the first time with Everett
3.Ran a half Marathon in the snow (it didn't stop snowing AT ALL during the entire race)

4. Discovered the best walking trail up Millcreek Canyon
5.Spent the weekend at Bret's Cabin. FINALLY!!
6.Made Smore's and built a bonfire in the snow
7.Discovered the MJ WII game (it's one of my favorite things of the year)
8.Went to the Harry Potter MID NIGHT showing for the first time
9.Went to 7-peaks for the 4^th of July… God Bless America

10. Went to Cottonwood Heights almost every weekend during the summer

11.Took a Ballet class

12. Worked in the study Abroad Department at SLCC and as an Apartment Manager from home

13. Ran the Bear Lake Marathon (My 7^th Marathon)

14. Got a cute new baby Niece (Jocelyn) and another one on the way (Hazen and Janet… Can’t wait! I love babies)

15.Went Snow Boarding with Evers

16.Joined a Bunko group with some friends from High school (I’m not very faithful, but it’s always a good time)

17. Had a few sleepovers with Evs in our homemade forts

18. Discovered our favorite place to eat breakfast (The Grand America) It has a fancy atmosphere and has the most amazing breakfast…AND its pretty inexpensive--that’s the best part:)

19. Took a hip-hop class that Everett signed me up for haha Thanks love (I’m a little rusty, but it was a cute idea:))

20.Everett & I hosted Thanksgiving at our house for the first time haha… Mom did all the cooking. Thanks mom!

21.Went Cliff Jumping with Evers (if you count the platforms at Cottonwood heights haha we do!)

22.Went to my first NEPHEWS Baptism (Congratulations Renic… You will make a great missionary someday:))

23.Stayed up until Mid-night on New Years Eve for the first time together

24. Went on a Triumph Ride (Big Thanks to Chad and Eryn… That’s Evers dream bike)

25. Took care of an Elderly Lady in our ward for the summer (we love you Roene)

26. Went Camping (Bear Lake) in the back of our car trunk and slept the entire night. Some people just fit perfectly together… We might be the best snuggler’s ever. Just sayin’.

27 Things I want to do for my 27^th year…

1. Have a baby

2. Read ALL 7 Harry Potter Books (I’m only on the 4^th book… that was my goal last year) Wish me luck again Evs

3. Catch up on my Journal/ Scrapbook

4. Take another Ballet Class

5. Kiss Everett on-top of a Ferris wheel

6. Watch the sunset and Sunrise all in one day with Evers

7. Go to my mission with Evers

8. Carve our names into a Tree

9. Run a race together

10. Go Horseback ridding on the beach with Evers

11. Make Love in an inappropriate Location. Our list is already pretty amazing, but why not add some more adventure this year…

12. Win Linda’s Annual Halloween Costume Party (We’ve won every year… Why not this year?)

13. Go surfing

14. Go Camping in California on the beach

15. Write a children’s book. This is always my goal

16. Attend a professional Baseball game. (Is there really any better way a true American can celebrate a hot summer day?)

17. Write more Thank you notes

18. Attain a solid understanding of how the government works in America

19. Spend one whole day with both mine and Everett’s Grandpa’s, learning whatever they need to teach us… (I wish I would have done this with my grandma)

20. Do something nice for mine and Everett’s parents: They’ve done a lot for us...

21. Get a toned /lifted booty

22. Buy dinner anonymously for a couple in love at a restaurant

23. Go Roller-Blading with Everett

24. Grow my hair out

25. Give the Book of Mormon away and share my testimony more often

26. Have a good supply of food storage

27. Open a "Fun Account" Save 3 Dollars a day for a year. (2012 is leap year, so there will be 366 days)

Christmas Is Prophecy Fulfilled

On the eve of His birth, the voice of the Lord came unto Nephi, saying, “Lift up your head and be of good cheer; for behold, the time is at hand, and on this night shall the sign be given, and on the morrow come I into the world, to show unto the world that I will fulfil all that which I have caused to be spoken by the mouth of my holy prophets.”

What did the holy prophets of old declare? Isaiah, more than 700 years before the birth of Christ, prophesied, “Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.”

On the American continent, King Benjamin said: “For behold, the time cometh, and is not far distant, that with power, the Lord Omnipotent … shall dwell in a tabernacle of clay. … He shall suffer temptations, and pain. … And he shall be called Jesus Christ, the Son of God, the Father of heaven and earth, the Creator of all things from the beginning; and his mother shall be called Mary.”

Then came that night of nights when the shepherds were abiding in the fields and the angel of the Lord appeared to them, announcing: “Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy. … For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.”

The shepherds with haste went to the manger to pay honor to Christ the Lord. Later, wise men journeyed from the East to Jerusalem, saying: “Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him. … When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceeding great joy. And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped him: and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto him gifts; gold, and frankincense, and myrrh.”

Since that time, the spirit of giving gifts has been present in the mind of each Christian as he or she commemorates the Christmas season. Our Heavenly Father gave to us His Son, Jesus Christ. That precious Son gave to us His life, the Atonement, and victory over the grave.

What will you and I give for Christmas this year? Let us in our lives give to our Lord and Savior the gift of gratitude by living His teachings and following in His footsteps. It was said of Him that He “went about doing good.” As we do likewise, the Christmas spirit will be ours.

1Went to Telluride Colorado for our anniversary and camped in our car

2Moved to Logan for a semester so that Everett could finish flight school... Go Aggies... and lived off food storage for 4 months it was incredible... Food storage is an amazing principle!!

3Was a Flight Attendant: Based in Chicago (for a few months anyway haha)

4Ever's and I got stuck in Hawaii...I left our money and ID(s) in the San Francisco Airport ........and we still had FUN!!

5Went to Connecticut and discovered a hidden rope swing at a place called lovers leap. We have aunts and Uncles that live there- Ev's was able to meet them for the first time, it was a lot of fun. Maybe even the highlight of our summer!

6Drove across the country (Utah to Washington DC)

7Went to Quebec Canada

8Met L. Tom Perry (Walking out side of our apt)

9Went to Chesapeake Bay

10Went on mine and Everett's first motorcycle ride in VA

11Moved to Washington DC for the Summer

12We got our clothes robbed out of our community washer and dryers

13We caught our robber and received MOST of our clothes back, and a few new shirts lol

14 8 months later... We were robbed AGAIN! This time it was our apt in DC!! The robber cut himself pretty badly on his way in and left blood every where-even in my purse and on CASH! The robber(s) left hundreds of dollars and 2 credit cards (All visible) and ONLY took our Mac-book and I-pod (shheeesh ya love Apple or what! Thanks for leaving the cash ya filthy animal, but we would still like our stuff back:))

15 Put together two 5k races for my mom... then celebrated when she beat her cancer.

16Finished the Old Testament for the first time

17Wall papered our apt in Logan. It was really classy next to our cinder block wall haha

18Ever's and I got part-time jobs working at a British Bakery together: Everett was the assistant baker (Don't be jealous)lol

All-night-er

Last weekend we went to our cousin Leslie's wedding. It's always an honor to be able to attend a sealing. It reminds me of our own, only ours was better (Is that alright to say? Nothing really compares to your own wedding, right?) She looked beautiful, and they looked so happy. There really is nothing better then seeing a happy Bride and Groom!
We decided to make a weekend out of this event and stayed at the parents house in Salt Lake. We went to dinner at The Pie with Mailee and Madi. It was DELICIOUS! I love finding a good pizza place!! After dinner we took a drive through all of our dream neighborhoods. Ah Someday... Someday I will have a cute home with a swing in the front and a pool in the back... with a tree house that the boys built... Someday!! Someday!!
Any way when we got home... we had an unplanned All-night-er, something I have not done in a really, really long time! I love to sleep, and I forgot how much fun it was to stay up all night with your best friend. This all-night-er was really the greatest all-night-er of all all-night-er's because it was with the very best friend that I have ever had...

Thanks Love, I hope we have many more in the years to come...

TURN OFF THE OVEN!!!I bet you can't guess what this is...or was???

This big black blob was... CHICKEN NOODLE SOUP!! YES, CHICKEN NOODLE SOUP!!!

I was warming up some soup for Everett, when suddenly realized I was supposed to meet him to do our taxes. We did our taxes and ran a few errands in between and then went home for dinner. As I was unlocking the door I could hear this obnoxious beeping noise... what is that??? Maybe the fire alarm?? When I opened the door sure enough, it was the FIRE ALARM!! Our apartment was COMPLETELY FULL of smoke.The next morning we went to the temple, when I opened my locker to put back on my street clothes it smelled like I was a chain smoker... EMBARRASSING!!! To this day our house still smells like smoke.

Lesson learned... TURN OFF THE OVEN...

So Here we are back up at Utah State. j/k We didn't really think that would be cute even though it really is super cute:) but they have an awesome flight program up here at Utah State so here we are!!!! Everett is loving school here in Logan. He enjoys flying and studying to become an Airline pilot. So even though it is nearly impossible to find a decent job in Logan I am happy to be here supporting my cute little hubby wubby who would do exactly the same for me:) I am proud of you honey!! Thanks for making education important in your life. It means the world to me...

Once upon a time there were three awesome slash hilarious BFF's. Oh and did I mention attractive and talented. They all become friends at this this very prestigious college, Dixie State College if you will, home of the Rebels the one and only DSC. These three girls would stay up late and study all night long (oh and did I mention they were really smart) One night of study involved a bag of brownies and a fist pound, this night had so much effect on their lives that they decided to share there talents with the world and start a band, titled, "Bag of Brownies" When I say shared their talents with the world I mean no where farther than Kim's bed haha.
They had an amazing singer, and two guitar players. ( What else do you need for a band?)

About a week ago I found the lyrics to their most famous song. I was in a throw EVERYTHING away mood, yes, believe it or choose not to I threw this song in my shred -it box. HOWEVER, my shred it box from a week ago has not yet been shredded. PURE INSPIRATION FROM TIFFANY AND KIM! Nightmare on 13th Street...

Well, its official this has become our little tradition…

For mine and Everett’s first date we went to Nightmare on 13th. After our date we went to this park, church place in the Harvard/Yale neighborhood (where 4 years later he asked me to marry him). Our first date was seriously AMAZING! It felt like we had known each other for years. From the very beginning we were completely comfortable with each other. I am one lucky girl! The past couple of years we have reenacted our first date—It’s so much- our first date really was the beginning of great hope and excitement… and it only gets better everyday!!

Captain EverettOn Friday October 3, 2009 Captain Everett took me for my first flight... Just The two of us!!
It was so much FUN!! As we flew up over the Utah Mountains and past the Great Salt Lake, I couldn't help but think of how blessed we are to live here in this beautiful State. It seems like I am always wanting out of this place... Please let’s go… I want an adventure! Let’s go to Texas, or maybe Egypt, or…how about South America… or even California…maybe Tennessee????!! I don’t really care just anywhere but here… any where but Utah... I am always ancy for something new, when there is so much adventure right here in our own back yard. Utah, what a great place!!! Why would I ever want to go anywhere when really the greatest excitement is right here?!!

Everett is a great captain... I am so happy that he is doing what he loves. I am not sure there is anything better than gaining an education/career in what you LOVE!! I am so proud of you honey... Thanks for the great flight. It was so much fun to be in the air with just the two of us... I look forward to more times like these in the future... This past summer my mom was diagnosed with Lymphoma Cancer. She has had a few chemo treatments and is hanging in there like a champ. Even though she is pretty sick and warn out she just keeps going,going,going, going, going and GOING!! She is AMAZING... I don't know how she does it, but what I do know is that she supports the scarfs like no one I have ever seen. It's no fair, I would look ridiculous if I lost all my hair...but not mom she looks BEAUTIFUL no matter what! (We LOVE you MOM)!

We are just giving a heads-up for anyone who would like to help support...

August 31,1984. I can’t believe I am 25?!! Really?! 25!! That sound so much older than 24!! I am half way to 50. Getting old is the best, right????!!! I swear though the older I get the more fun I have… I suppose life can only get better with age…
I had such a perfect Birthday. I was spoiled by my mom and sister (Thank you so much!! You really shouldn't have).
Then I was really spoiled by my honey! After work Everett surprised me with flowers, a beautiful Cameo necklace and a nice dress for dinner (he picked out all by himself). It was an incredible night! We went to this amazing European restaurant; it really felt like we spent the evening in Europe. It was absolutely perfect, perfect, perfect, and perfect!! If we were in a fairytale it would feel exactly like this night!! After dinner we went home and he had me go in the other room for my last birthday surprise… He decorated our room with loads of candles and put red rose peddles all over our bed and then… THE END!! Thanks again, Ever’s for the PERFECT day!! xoxo

Hobble Creek 1/2 Marathon

Lacee and I ran the Hobble Creek Marathon this last weekend. It was so PRETTY! This is my favorite race (Thank you DOWN hills:)) I am the oldest girl and sometimes, well almost all the time I feel like the younger sister. Last to get married...last to have babies...last to... well, like I said, just about last to do everything! OTHER than moments like THIS, when I feel like the OLDER sister...
I love it when I can talk my sisters into doing stupid things like this. I called Lacee Thursday night to run the Hobble Creek 1/2 the race was on Saturday! During the race I think Lacee told me over 1000000000 that she was going to kill me, and everything around her. haha Oh my gosh I never laughed so hard in my life, besides the Bear River race that I talked her into last year. She cracks me up. If you ever want to do a race just for FUN invite Lacee, trust me you'll have fun, and you'll laugh hard... so hard you might pee your pants, unless you're Kassy or me then you'll pee your pants for sure!!

This book is my new FAVORITE!! I don't know if it is because I haven't been able to fully enjoy a book without feeling guilty knowing I have homework to do, and now that I am graduated it is a complete pleasure?!! I'm not sure, BUT I'll tell you one thing for certain, this book is AMAZING!!!
I know that most of you have probably read this book already, but if you haven't it's a must!! You will absolutely love this book. It's a book that pulls you in and makes you feel like you are in the book yourself. You can't help yourself from being drawn to each character.
It is the perfect love story! (For the most part anyway) If I didn't love my husband so much, I would be seriously depressed by this perfect love story. Everett read this book before I did and he reenacted one of the scenes (before I got my hands on this book). I thought he was just clever and romantic haha (OK he is) but still when I read this “FAMILIAR” scene in this book, I couldn't stop laughing, and when I told Everett about this "FAMILIAR" scene we both couldn't stop laughing... He is out of control. I guess that's the only thing that keeps me going, especially after reading this book!
This book is so adventurous, sad and funny all at once. I finished the last few pages of this book at work, I had tears all over my desk and I didn't even care haha because acutely it was just that good!
Anyway you really should read it, you will be in love!!!

Canada!!

When we went to Washington to help Anna & Dave move we went to Canada for a couple of days. This is where Everett served his mission. We stayed with Vee (a member from one of his wards. She is awesome, I love her!) We were also able to visit down town Vancouver. We had dessert on top of a revolving tower that over looked all of Vancouver (SO BEAUTIFUL!!) and we spent the afternoon in Stanley Park. Vancouver is beautiful because you have the mountains, loads of green, green trees and the water (All of the best in one place).

We were also able to visit Everett's favorite area in his mission. It was amazing to be able to meet some of the people that he taught and baptized. Everett was seriously an incredible missionary. The first time I met Everett I was getting ready to go on a mission and he was so enthusiastic about his own mission. He showed me tons of pictures and told me all about his experiences with everyone in his mission. He was a Strong influence for me as I was preparing for my own mission. It was fun to finally see and be in the place where Everett saw so many miracles, and truly had his life changing experiences... What a blessing to be able to go out and do absolutely nothing except for serve the Lord! Seeing his mission made me homesick for my own. I am so grateful that Ever's served such a faithful mission. He is so smart when it comes to the gospel, I am one lucky girl!!

Seattle Washington

We visited Washington to help Anna, Dave & the babies move back to Utah. The State of Washington is amazingly beautiful!! This was my first time there. We flew out and drove Anna & Dave's car back to Utah. It was actually not a bad drive at all, we left really early and were in Utah before 8pm. We are sad they are leaving their beautiful home in Washington, but because we're really really selfish we are excited to have them in Utah with us!!

The Fourth of July really is such a great holiday. possibly my favorite!!
My dream is to become a world traveler. I have been to Europe, Mexico, and Canada (That's a good start right... haha) For some reason I always have this drive to get out and see the world. It's not until holidays like this that I sit back and realize how great it is right here in America; how beautiful and blessed we really are to live in this Country! Independence day gives us a chance to truly celebrate our Country. We are blessed to live in a land that affords such freedom and opportunity. Everett is a political junkie, which sometimes causes me to worry about what the future has to hold for our Country. Henry Clay said about the constitution, "The Constitution of the thirteen States was made, not merely for the generation which then existed, but for posterity-- undefined, unlimited, permanent and perpetual." I am grateful to our Heavenly Father and to those who founded our Nation and established this great land. I pray that the blessings of our Constitution will always remain, and that we will continue to have our freedoms!

Ireland is amazing! This is where Everett and I went for our honeymoon. We stayed in a hotel a couple nights and then took a Rd. trip of southern Ireland (BEAUTIFUL); the rest of our trip we stayed in cute little bed & breakfast's... From being chased by an old Irish man with a Shepard's staff to dinner in the pubs (mmmm DELICIOUS)! WHAT AN ADVENTURE!!! Our favorite place in the world is now and maybe will forever be Ireland!!

Established January 24,2009January 24th, 2009: The Best day of our lives... Here are a few pics. that Ben my new brother in law took, when I receive the ones that our photographer Allison Davis took I will post pictures.

I guess you can say, "we took the money and ran!!" We condensed our wedding to make this possible. We went on our honeymoon to Ireland and didn't think for a second about how much we were spending (Once in a life time opportunity, right?)

From this day on my life really has been a fairytale. Everett is Amazing! I couldn't be happier... we were married in the Ogden Temple. I NEVER dreamed of being married in the Ogden temple, but it was perfect. The sealing room was the most beautiful sealing room I have even been in. Ogden is so ghetto we were kind of nervous, we didn't even wear bullet proof vests. haha. we should have!

The reason we were married in the Ogden Temple is because I wanted our sealer to be someone I knew to make it a little more personal. Elder Adams was one of the Sr. Couples in my mission. We were and still are really close, so it made it so special to have him perform this ordinence for Everett and I. I know that the words come straight from our Father in Heaven, but it was AMAZING to have him be the instrument for the Lord by sealing us together for eternity. I won't go into detail of all that was said, but not only because it was our sealing, but truly it was the most beautiful and sacred sealing I have ever witnessed. I am overwhelmed with the blessing of eternal marriage. Never in my life have I felt the spirit stronger or felt more right about doing something than I did this day in the Ogden Temple with my lovely groom!!

We didn't do anything fancy for our wedding: It was exactly what I wanted!! Truly the PERFECT day!!
After the temple we went and took some pictures and then we went to our dinner at Baggie’s. It was again perfect. We only invited close family and a few friends. We basically took the money we would have spent on our wedding party and used it for our honeymoon:) After dinner, the honeymoon began!! The first night we went to "The Inn on the Hill" Sooooo BEAUTIFUL!! Details NOT included... but let's just say it was amazing in every way, and then in the morning we were off to a great adventure in Ireland!!

I Love Everett so much and am so blessed to spend eternity with him... xoxo

Just a Little taste of EUROPE...

Europe was AMAZING!!!!!!!! What an awesome and even essential trip this was. My good friend from work, Jami Dunford and myself went to Europe for a month. This was possibly one of the best months of my life. (So far...) We met tons of new friends on this great exploration. We went with a group called, “EF College Break.” Yep, College BREAK (No study) Although, it wasn't a study of broad and we didn't have to take tests or write any papers; I would say this was one of if not the most educational experiences I have had my entire college journey.

We started in London. Where the people were charming with there cute little accents, and pretty pink lipstick. Chelsea and I made quite the journey to the London Temple. We took a 2 hour train and then walked for miles and miles in the rain. I felt like a pioneer (in a small way of course). We had seen a lot of the city which was so much fun, but the country side is what we experienced as we walked in the rain, which by the way seemed like an eternity, before we finally arrived to the temple. The country side was BEAUTIFUL!! My mom’s family still lives in England, I was not able to see them during my visit, but I thought of them everyday I was there. Knowing that many generations of my family and even close family is from England made the trip even more special! The Temple was so pretty, the grounds were incredible! Of all the beautiful places I saw in Europe I am sure anyone would agree, nothing beats the beauty of a temple.

Then we went to Paris, which is said to be the most romantic place on earth. Oh was it ever so lovely! My favorite was Montmartre (This tiny little Quaint town that over looked all of Paris... truly breath-taking). Well, actually maybe my favorite was Eiffel Tower or maybe it was the, Rue Royale et église de la Madeleine. It’s not really fair to say what was my favorite, it was all soo much fun!! Then we were off to Belgium where I ate the most scrumptious Belgium Waffles ever to be discovered. After our Visit in Belgium we went to Holland, where we stayed in a hostel (not the worst, but far from the best place to stay) in Amsterdam; which actually was the best (or at least one of the best places I visited in Europe) Hardly any one drove cars, everyone rode bikes with cute little baskets, and their little Vespa scooters. The bridges were beautiful, and quaint. The people were undoubtedly classy and beautiful. They were classy as far as their appearance anyway; as far as classy morals? I am not sure? Unfortunately, the city was full of drugs and a very famous red-light district. Other than that it was one of my most favorite places in Europe. We went to the Anne Frank museum, it was quite depressing what her family and others that lived in the time of the Holocaust went through. My grandma lived in England during this time, although she was not Jewish, her stories that she has shared with me of what she and her family went through suddenly came to life. What a sorrowful experience! I couldn’t hold back the tears as I walked through the home of Anne Frank, and saw where they hid and where such an awful and even unbelievable experience occurred. After Amsterdam we were off to Italy. We were able to attend Church and meet some wonderful members. The Gelatos were to die for (I ate one or two every single day! That’s really healthy, right?!) Florence was amazing, and Venice was even more amazing, then there was Rome. Really? Rome? Was I really in Rome? The Spanish steps were great, such a neat culture! Gladiator, any one?! I’ve never seen the movie, but still the Colosseum was amazing!! When in ROME… After Italy we went to Germany. Germany was beautiful; we were able to see where they make cuckoo clocks, and I saw the most implausible/incredible castle of all times! After Germany we headed back to France, and enjoyed our stay at the French Riviera! The water was the most clear blue sight imaginable. What a beautiful, beautiful, beautiful day!! After the French Riviera we went to Switzerland!!!! Switzerland is the most BEAUTIFUL place on earth. Its true Switzerland is the most AMAZING Country I have ever been too! ABSOLUTELY incredible!!! We stayed in Lucerne in a cute little cottage type place. We took a gondola to the top of Mt. Pilatus, the railway is the worlds steepest! It was quite the adventure! I am not going to lie I was super scared! Ohh Switzerland is truly magical! This was my absolute most favorite country we visited.

After Switzerland we were off to spain, which was our final Country to visit. We first went to Barcelona. I didn’t really picture Spain to feel like the Jungle, but it did in many ways. Spain has such a fun culture, the days were very calm and the nights were wild and crazy (In a good way). We also visited Madrid; this was our last stop of the trip (sad). Our last day we visited the Madrid temple, we didn’t do any work, but being on the grounds was again amazing! That night we ate dinner in a cave. Not just any cave, it was a fancy cave, with candles, yummy food and live entertainment. Ohhh, BIG SIGH… I am sad it is over. What an unforgettable vacation. There is so much to see, and so much to do. I want to travel the World. Doesn’t that sound nice? Who wouldn’t want to be a world traveler? I have this burning desire to see the world… some day, I will! Someday I will be back to visit all these wonderful places. Maybe with a husband, who knows? I have a boy friend, it could happen, right? Maybe I should just purpose myself to Everett. “Everett, will you marry me!!” No, I won’t really purpose, or will I? haha we could begin a wonderful journey, and travel the world together! That sounds so nice, right about NOW! Lots of dreams… lots and lots of dreams to come true!!
