CARIN' FOR KAREN 5K WALK/RUN

October 24, 2009 5k WALK/RUN
CARIN' FOR KAREN!!
(Carinforkaren.blogspot.com)

This past summer my mom was diagnosed with Lymphoma Cancer. She has had a few chemo treatments and is hanging in there like a champ. Even though she is pretty sick and warn out she just keeps going, going, going, going, going and GOING!! She is AMAZING... I don't know how she does it, but what I do know is that she supports the scarfs like no one I have ever seen. It's no fair, I would look ridiculous if I lost all my hair...but not mom she looks BEAUTIFUL no matter what! (We LOVE you MOM)!

We are just giving a heads-up for anyone who would like to help support...

We are holding a 5k walk/run for her on October 24, 2009 at Sugar House Park in Salt Lake. For more information on the race you can go to carinforkaren.blogspot.com. Also, if you would like to help support and cannot make it to the race there is a donation account at Zions bank, called, "The Karen Lewis Donation."
any support would be great! Please keep her in your prayers!!

Thank you!
Love,
Amber & Family xoxo

Thanks love, it was the Perfect-Fairytale Birthday!!

August 31,1984. I can’t believe I am 25?!! Really?! 25!! That sound so much older than 24!! I am half way to 50. Getting old is the best, right????!!! I swear though the older I get the more fun I have… I suppose life can only get better with age…
I had such a perfect Birthday. I was spoiled by my mom and sister (Thank you so much!! You really shouldn't have).
Then I was really spoiled by my honey! After work Everett surprised me with flowers, a beautiful Cameo necklace and a nice dress for dinner (he picked out all by himself). It was an incredible night! We went to this amazing European restaurant; it really felt like we spent the evening in Europe. It was absolutely perfect, perfect, perfect, and perfect!! If we were in a fairytale it would feel exactly like this night!! After dinner we went home and he had me go in the other room for my last birthday surprise… He decorated our room with loads of candles and put red rose peddles all over our bed and then… THE END!! Thanks again, Ever’s for the PERFECT day!! xoxo

This girl played Happy Birthday for me on a Trumpet:)

My own personal Happy Birthday Firework:)
